Five Wineries on Cayuga Lake You Can't Miss

Americana Vineyards Winery, Interlaken NY -

One of my personal favorites, Americana is a dog friendly vineyard that produces amazing wine and fudge. The atmosphere is great with the tasting room located in a beautiful refurbished barn. I highly recommend the wine and fudge tasting which pairs delicious wines with equally delicious fudge! This winery gets bonus points for the not-so-secret brewery, Bacchus located on the bottom floor of the barn. Many locals visit often during the summer to attend their many fun events and festivals.

One of the most popular wineries on Cayuga Lake, Thirsty Owl is a fan favorite due to its stunning lake views, delicious restaurant, and artfully crafted wines. You won't regret a visit to this fantastic winery and even better is you can enjoy it with your furry friend. Gentleman also take note, this is a popular spot for proposals *wink, wink*!

Hosmer Winery, Ovid NY -

Located near Thirsty Owl, this winery is quaint and often overlooked but is definitely not one to be missed! The tasting rooms are in a refurbished barn and provides many opportunities for awesome Insta-worthy pics. The tasting tables are re-purposed dressers, I mean how cute is that! More than just visiting for the decor, the vineyard produces delicious wine at affordable prices.

Two miles from downtown Ithaca, this winery is known for its beautiful setting and delicious wines! The grounds features views of the vineyard, valley, ponds, and gardens and is no stranger to providing a stunning backdrop for weddings, engagements and more!

Bright Leaf Vineyard, King Ferry NY -

Another personal favorite, this vineyard features stunning views of Cayuga Lake! I kid you not when I say the sunsets hit differently from this beautiful location. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating and an event room for bigger events. Furry friends are welcome on the property and there are outdoor games available for families to enjoy such as corn hole.
